The 250+ members/affiliates of the Forum are SME financing experts operating in 190 countries who share the common goal of expanding access to finance to small businesses worldwide through knowledge exchange and innovation.

"The SME Finance Forum is pleased to welcome MIRA as its newest partner. We look forward to building a strategic partnership with MIRA to strengthen access to finance for SMEs through innovation and new technologies, enabling more businesses to obtain the financial resources they need to grow, invest, and contribute to economic development,” said Qamar Saleem, Head of SME Finance Forum

MIRA (Mira Capital & Technology Inc.) is a financial innovation and investment platform working to deepen financial markets and expand access to finance. MIRA acts as a system builder for the future of finance, aligning innovation, capital, and policy to strengthen the foundations of financial systems. MIRA approaches financial deepening as the strengthening of five core layers of financial systems: access, usage, infrastructure, trust and security, and capital formation.

On joining SME Finance Forum as its affiliate, Irene Arias Hofman, Co-Founder and CEO, MIRA, said, "At MIRA, we believe that when small businesses thrive, entire economies grow. We don’t view SME finance as a niche market—it is the backbone of a healthy financial system. By joining the SME Finance Forum, we are excited to collaborate with global leaders to build deeper financial systems that work for every business owner, and to help expand the Forum’s footprint across the Americas.”
